Results of external examinations taken in the summer of 2007:
Mr Hunton said that the GCSE A* - C pass rate of 74% was the best ever. The school is really pleased with the results for maths, science and English. The science results were particularly pleasing as they are much better than previous years.
The average points score at A Level was 774. There are now over two hundred students in the sixth form, which is pleasing.
Mr Hull said that the governors are very pleased with the results, which have once again improved, and congratulated the staff and students for their efforts.
